I have a few lakes to fish for MUSKIE in MN.?

I am coming from Fargo ND area and will be fishing muskie and of course bonus pike. I am 15 and will be going with a fellow 15 year old friend of mine. And we have a 16 foot boat with a 6hp johnson. But my conflict is which lake to fish. Us being only 15, we cant go fish leech or mille lacs or Bemidji without an adult. So we were thinking Pelican or Detroit. or possibly lakes in the West Battle lake area. What other hidden lakes are dow there? i know i cant just ask for guys honey holes but im starting off and need a lil advice. we were a bit worried about the boaters on detroit and pelican though.
