Does anyone else have the fear of getting hit by a car?

It is my 3rd biggest phobia that started with people winding me up at college on a trip. Every time I came to a road they pushed me across into oncoming traffic. The tutor then got cross with me. The pelican crossings aren't very good in my town and take ages. Once the red man light was out and I crossed thinking it was green and nearly got hit by a jeep. People still tell me to be careful now. Does anyone else have a fear of getting hit by a car or even has a story about it like I do?
